How do payment QR codes work?
A payment QR encodes a deep link to a specific payment app — Venmo (venmo.com/u/username), PayPal (paypal.me/username), Cash App ($cashtag), or any other platform's payment URL. When scanned, the URL opens the corresponding app (if installed) directly into the send-money screen, often with the recipient pre-filled. About payment URL formats
Each platform uses its own URL scheme; pick the one for your app.

- PayPal: paypal.me/USERNAME (optional /10 for amount)
